About Our Books

"Bernard’s Lesson - Sharing Feelings in a Classroom World" is the heartwarming first installment of the Bernard’s Lesson series, an early readers’ picture book collection designed to introduce young children to the exciting and sometimes overwhelming world of the classroom.

About the R.S. Shepherd

R.S. Shepherd is the dynamic husband and wife writing team of Robert and Shauna Shepherd. Robert, born in Chicago to a large family originally from Mississippi, serves as the creative inspiration for many of the memorable characters in their children’s books. His rich upbringing and life experiences are woven into their stories, bringing authenticity and warmth to their tales.

Shauna, a lifelong storyteller, began writing poetry at the age of 10, and her passion for creative writing has only grown since. Together, they blend their unique talents and perspectives to create engaging and heartfelt stories that inspire readers of all ages.

When not crafting their next book, Robert and Shauna enjoy exploring the great outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family. They continue to write from their home, where they’re always dreaming up new adventures for their readers.
